Welcome!
I'm Corina, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the proud owner of WOW Mental Health Services.

I am from Los Angeles and have lived here most of my life. My journey through the social work field started at Pasadena City College and deepened at Humboldt State University, where I uncovered the key role of mental health via community activism and personal experiences. During this time, I made a very meaningful decision to start my healing journey, embracing therapy, while sharpening my focus towards becoming a therapist. This transformation was challenging but it allowed me to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma(s), fostering healing and resilience. My journey shifted from survival to personal and emotional growth and my aim is to help you uncover what your healing path is.

EXPERIENCE
In 2017, I entered county mental health then community mental health where I worked with individuals of all ages facing various mental health challenges. My specialization lies in helping women navigate the complexities of young adulthood, from changing family dynamics to work-life balance and finding purpose in life.
